We have a lot to offer here in the Upstate when it comes to the Arts. We have Visual Arts, including The Bob Jones University Museum & Gallery, The Greenville County Museum of Art, and several more listed below.

For Music, we have the Carolina Pops Orchestra, Carolina Youth Symphony, Greenville County Youth Orchestra, and the Greenville Symphony Orchestra.

For Dance & Theatre, we have the Centre Stage, Greenville Little Theater, and Warehouse Theatre.

In the literature department, internationally known author and composer William Rowland, novelist and educator Robert Powell, and renowned playwright James Rasheed all live in Greenville.

- ARTISPHERE
  
  ARTISPHERE is an annual signature event for Greenville, S.C. It showcases the arts, reflects the area's international flair, and maximizes existing arts programs by providing a diverse menu of experiences centering around the visual and performing arts. ARTISPHERE is Greenville's multi-cultural offering that appeals to citizens throughout the region, and visitors from around the world.
- First Fridays Online
  
  First Fridays Online promotes visual art awareness in our community and provide a venue for showcasing emerging and established artists in our area, combining resources of gallery owners and artists to create beneficial exposure for both.

- Catherine Hayes Art + Sculpture
  
  Catherine Hayes Art + Sculpture specializes in European Fine Art, representing an array of accomplished European and American artists. Six years of living abroad in Italy prompted Catherine Hayes Art + Sculpture to promote the original artworks of current artists, to make unique works of art accessible to private and commercial clients, and to foster cultural and artistic exchange through a mix of styles and medium from traditional to contemporary.

  We offer art that is visually pleasing, even happy in nature. No goth or deep thinking here. You're going to live with your purchase, so it might as well make you feel good when you walk into the room.
- Greenville Open Studios (GOS)
  
  The goals of GOS are to provide free and convenient community access to visual arts, to educate and create a dialogue between artists and the general public by opening artists' place of work and inviting the community-at-large to participate in the creative process, and to create new marketing opportunities for artists.
- Guy Stevens Art
  
  Employing flamboyant colors, his flat lyrical shapes suggest qualities of both primitive and impressionistic art. He often adopts an elevated viewpoint giving his work a tilt in perspective that channels an extraordinary energy and movement.
- Hampton III Gallery
  
  Hampton III features the work of a number of artists who work in a wide variety of media. Browse the work online by selecting one or more artists.
- Julia Peters Studio
  
  Julia works mostly in watercolors or oils and her work has been commissioned by both residential and corporate clients. She has participated in Art In The Park for many years as an artist and volunteer. Her work has placed in many juried shows.
- Mary Praytor Gallery
  
  We've been doing business around town, around the country and around the world since we opened our doors in 1987. We got our start in outsider and folk art, while always showing a strong stable of contemporary, often representational artists.
- Midtown Artery
  
  Specializing in the sale of original, contemporary works of art and sculpture from artists located around the globe. Their artists and works have been meticulously scrutinized for their originality, content and style and the Midtown Artery believes them to be among the best artists of the 21st century.
- Standridge Studios
  
  A native of Greenville, Standridge has left his mark in this community as the founder of South Carolina Children's Theatre and as a Recruiting Director for the S.C. Governor's School for the Arts. His paintings have been exhibited in countless galleries throughout the Southeast and his works are highly sought after by both private and corporate collectors.
- Trillium Arts Centre
  
  A non-profit arts association based in Travelers Rest, S.C. serving the artists & communities of northern Greenville County and surrounding areas. We provide services for artists including education and opportunities to show and sell their work, we provide education in the arts for children and adults, and we serve the community by providing public arts events for adults and families as well as public events that introduce children to the arts.
- Upstate Visual Arts (UVA)
  
  Upstate Visual Arts began officially in 1991, when a small group of area business and cultural leaders resolved to serve both area artists and the community by celebrating the vast talent of local artists. UVA now exists as a thriving non-profit, 501(c)(3) organization, almost 500 members strong.
- Village Studios & Gallery (VSG)
  
  Village Studios and Gallery was founded in 2005 to provide affordable studio space for artists and a gallery to showcase the work of all artists in the Village of West Greenville.
- VITTI Tile & Pottery
  
  I studied pottery at O.C.C. in Royal Oak, Michigan with Charlie Blosser and Jay Przepiora, and at Pewabic Pottery in Detroit, Michigan with David McGee. I since have relocated to Greenville, S.C., an area rich in ceramic tradition, to follow my passion.

- Greenville County Museum of Art
  
  Education is the mainstay of our mission at the Greenville County Museum of Art. Teachers from around the region bring their classes to the Museum to give the children a firsthand look at art.
- Metropolitan Arts Council
  
  The Metropolitan Arts Council (MAC) is the only organization in Greenville, South Carolina working daily to support every discipline of the arts. MAC provides support to area arts organizations and many individual artists through its grants program, through its cultural planning process, by advocating on behalf of all artists and arts groups, and by providing cooperative marketing opportunities promoting arts groups that might not have resources available to them.
- The Children's Museum
  
  The Children's Museum exists to ignite a passion for learning & empowering all children to discover their full potential and expand their view of themselves and the world. Their vision is to be a leader in innovative family activities, a dynamic learning center, and a compelling community attraction.
- The Peace Center
  
  The Peace Center presents the world's finest performers, provides arts education and outreach, and supports local arts organizations. These efforts further cultural advancement, arts appreciation, and the economic development of South Carolina.
SCHOOLS
Greenville's Fine Arts Center, S.C. Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities.
- Greenville's Fine Arts Center provides advanced comprehensive arts instruction to students who are artistically talented and who wish to take an intensive pre-professional program of study.
- The S.C. Governor's School for the Arts and Humanities serves the artistically gifted high school students of South Carolina through programs of pre-professional instruction in an environment of artistic and academic excellence. Two-week summer programs in acting, creative writing, music and visual arts are available for rising ninth and tenth grade South Carolinians.

  UpstateOnstage.com is not an organization of any kind. It simply serves as a meeting point for a variety of theater people, be they backstage, onstage, or in the seats.
- Warehouse Theatre
  
  The Warehouse Theatre is a professional theatre dedicated to theatre as a serious art form; to high-quality, diverse and challenging productions; to the training of theatre professionals; to community outreach; and to student education. It is one of only 35 theatres nationally sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts for Shakespeare in American Communities!
