Is South Carolina Going Closed-Wall?

I haven’t said anything about last week’s gay adsSC flag fiasco caused by SC’s tourism department, but when you couple that with the fact that:

  1. our local governments are looking to demand all its business be conducted in English only,
  2. that the confederate flag on the SC Statehouse is still up, and
  3. that one of our own Senators is comparing Obama to Osama bin Laden,

you have to wonder: are we closing ourselves off to the rest of the world or what?

I mean, I know the Civil War started here in SC, but can’t we all just get along?

btw: CafePress has an Obama/Osama t-shirt too. Shame, shame guys. Anything for a buck…
