Is South Carolina Going Closed-Wall?
I haven’t said anything about last week’s marketing
fiasco caused by SC’s tourism department, but when you couple that with the fact that:
- our local governments are looking to demand all its business be conducted in English only,
- that the confederate flag on the SC Statehouse is still up, and
- that one of our own Senators is comparing Obama to Osama bin Laden,
you have to wonder: are we closing ourselves off to the rest of the world or what?
I mean, I know the Civil War started here in SC, but can’t we all just get along?
