SC Tourism Department Burning Through Money

Oops, we’ve done it again! First our tourism department went through an ad campaign fiasco inviting gays from London, and now we’re spending $100,000 to entice Germans to Myrtle Beach!

Something about, “Trick me once, shame on you. Trick me twice, shame on me”…

Here’s Charleston’s effort to bring more tourists to the Holy City, OneTankToCharleston.com, which redirects you to their Charleston Visitor’s Bureau website. Its TV ads can be seen on local TV here in the Upstate.
